**For the third consecutive year, the EPA announced it is issuing an emergency fuel waiver to allow E15 to be sold during the summer driving season.

This announcement gives consumers ongoing access to E15, a clean-burning, homegrown, lower-cost fuel choice at the pump.

E15, commonly marketed as Unleaded 88 at the pump, is approved for use in 2001 or newer vehicles accounting for over 95% of vehicles on the road today.

**House Ag Committee Chair Glenn Thompson says his committee will “without a doubt” mark up a farm bill before Memorial Day on May 27.

After repeated delays, Successful Farming reports Republicans on the Senate Ag committee plan to release a farm bill framework shortly after the House panel takes action, without a specific date to move the bill.

The farm bill is six months overdue.

**The USDA’s April Wheat Outlook shows global wheat ending stocks for 2023-24 are projected down this month by 0.6 million metric tons, the lowest in eight years.

The biggest factor in this month’s decline is India’s wheat stocks, which are forecast down 2.1 million metric tons.

Global stocks have slipped 39 MMT from the peak level of 297 MMT in 2019-2020, with China estimated to account for 18 MMT of that decline.
