CattleFax's Webinar Scheduled For August 31st

Cow-calf margins have been and will continue to be under pressure as the U.S. beef cowherd has expanded recently. Producers will need to continue to make adjustments in years to come to help mitigate a reduction in profitability.

At the end of this month, CattleFax will hold a webinar which will address these issues as CattleFax Analyst Ethan Oberst explains,

Oberst: "It's coming up on August 31st, Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Mountain time. We're going to do the short-term outlook that we always do in the beginning of our webinars. We are also going to do a longer-term outlook from a cattle cycle standpoint, from a weather standpoint some of the things that we are looking at. Obviously getting a lot of questions recently, 'Are we approaching the bottom of the cycle, or the cycle lows — how rapidly this market has declined recently. We are going to get into that and take a look at historical prices and take a look at that side of things."
