Automation: Taking Jobs or Creating Opportunities?

Automation is coming and it will continue to displace human labor. Some are concerned that this technology might come for their job. Alex Gutierrez of L5 Automation looks at it a little differently.
Gutierrez… “What if we could create a world where everyone has their basic needs met, and therefore doubling or tripling, or ideally 10xing, the number of people that could actually be productive for this world? How much better and richer would our world be?”
With this vision in mind, L5 Automation has developed a strawberry picking robot. He says it’s important that technology like this is offered by companies seeking win-win relationships.
Gutierrez… “Automation is on its way in some shape or form, what's really important is who's gonna be the one that does it? Is it gonna be someone that is just looking for Win-lose, or someone that's gonna be doing Win-win? And what we wanna do is create an environment that really makes everyone be part of this process and everyone can get some level of benefit.”
And they’re bringing people into this process today by raising money on crowdfunding platform WeFunder.
Gutierrez… “Where we're at so far is we are closing soon, but the proceeds are being used to continue to pay sellers, continue to do the technical development and continue to make things work.”
