Just because you are in a rural setting does not insulate you from these crazy shootings that seem to be happening on a regular basis in our country. St. Joseph, Michigan is a town of only about 8000 people and yet yesterday Reuters tells us that two bailiffs were killed inside a courthouse yesterday and the shooter was also killed according to Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey. Several other wounded people are in stable condition at a local hospital including a sheriff's deputy. Here is Sheriff Bailey

St. Joseph is located in far southwestern Berrien County which is near the border with Indiana.

A new American Automobile Association study says gas that meets what's known as Top Tier standards keeps engines cleaner and emissions down. Top Tier brands contain more detergent additives, which AAA says could keep all gasoline fueled engines in better shape over the long run.

Although Top Tier gas costs about 3 cents a gallon more, Dave Carlson, director of government and public affairs for AAA Oregon/Idaho, says the extra pennies could end up saving you money.
