Wheat Markets End Friday Mixed

I’m KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for March 9, 2015.
On Friday, the wheat markets ended the day mixed. USDA Grain and Livestock Reporter Greg Sanders gives an update on the region’s cattle markets.
Sanders: “This week feeder cattle in the Northwest we had 3,200 head trade. Compared to last Friday, feeder cattle were firm in a light test. Trade remains slow with good demand with a stronger futures market by the end of the week helped the market. Feeder steers medium to large frame #1s and #2s current FOB price 900 pounds $191 in Washington and current delivered price 800 to 900 pounds $192 to $203 in Idaho. Replacement heifers on a per head basis medium to large frames #1s and #2s current FOB price 800 to 850 pounds $1700 per head in Washington.”
