Slow Trade Day Christmas Eve

I'm KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for Christmas Day, 2013.

Tuesday was another slow trade day that closed early. From the floor of the CME Group, Jack Scoville shares his observations of Tuesday's markets.

Scoville: "Merry Christmas everybody. We are trading a little bit lower here across the floor. Really not a whole heck of a lot of news. Actually we sold some soybeans to Egypt really not producing much in effect here in the futures market here though whatsoever. Cash market is really quiet. Checking in around South America really nobody there today -- most guys already starting the Christmas holiday already. We're seeing that here in the United States as well."
