I eagerly await each weekly edition of the Idaho Cattle Association Executive Update that I receive via email. It is written by the Cattle Association Executive Director, Wyatt Prescott and is always chock-full of information relating to anything cattle. So here is your tossup for 50 points. How do we manage to get Hooters into the executive conversation? Of course by Hooters, I do mean the restaurants. Well here is your answer. In the December 9 edition, this little headline appeared. “Hooters to remarket and expand by 150 locations.  And for those of you who don’t give a hoot, they move a lot of burgers.” Needless to say I had to call Wyatt. “As an avid reader of your publication, I could not help but look at an article that says Hooters to remarket and expand by 150 locations. Before I get into that and ask for your comments, I must tell you that I have only been in Hooters once in my life and that was with my father-in-law. (Laughter) I will not comment as to whether or not I have ever been in a Hooters. But as a person who is involved in the industry, it is important to keep up with and I think it is important for all cattle producers to keep an eye on every type of restaurant that sells our product and Hooters has big plans to expand to 150 new locations and that is good for our industry and that is good for agriculture.
