7-15 SS Wings and More

There is the hunt but as we all know, the camaraderie, the fellowship, is icing on the cake.

Bob Angell has been a regular correspondent with lion hunts in Botswana, Cape Buffalo in Tanzania, you name it and Bob has been there. Now he is going to tell us that wing shooting in Central America is fabulous hunting but there is so much more. Here he is: “I think Argentina and Central America, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia unquestionably have the finest wing shooting in the world. There is nothing not to like about the country down there, they are lovely people, I fortunately speak enough Spanish that I am comfortable there, they have wonderful wines, beef, lamb, fresh produce and fruits and everything. Just a wonderful experience, very, very nice people and it is a gorgeous country. It is a fun endeavor, we go down there usually with a group of six hunters, we enjoy the sights and the restaurants around Buenos Aeres and some of the other smaller cities in these countries. It is beautiful when you get out into the fields, we have lovely barbecues after a morning shoot in the field you have huge chunks of beautiful beef and green salads and nice wine, then a little siesta, what’s not to like about that?
