7-4 SS Bearpaw Outfitters

Want a guided hunt or unguided? A guiding service called Bearpaw Outfitters is owned by Dale Denny and he talked with me about where he operates and the plusses and minuses of guided vs. unguided hunts. “We operate in four states, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Washington. In Washington we do Whitetail hunts, Blacktail hunts, Miriam  turkey and moose, we get the occasional sheep hunter too. In Idaho we concentrate on mule deer, elk, and cougar. In Montana we concentrate on antelope, mule deer, Whitetail, and in Utah we concentrate on mule deer, elk  and cougar. We just try to profide a personalized service, we do a lot of guided hunts we also do a lot of un-guided hunts, we get guys who like to stay at drop camps or use one of the lodges and hunt on their own. Not everyone is cut out for a guided hunt. On the guided hunts you’d be hunting with a guide, we provide meals and lodging and you would be hunting with a guy who knows the area. Generally success is better on a guided hunt because you are hunting with a guide that knows the area. On an un-guided hunt sometimes success is good. If a hunter is adaptable even if he is fresh to the area and doesn’t know it that well, we can usually tell guys how to hunt, where to go and they will hunt on their own. We provide meals and lodging and even help guys get game out if they get it down.

So if you want to get out of town and go hunting and that service appeals to you the web site’s Bearpawoutfitters.com
