It's sneaks up on us every year faster than the year before.

The holidays are here and if you're looking for a little assist on where to go for the essential Colorado experiences we've got you covered.

The state Agriculture Department has a lot of busy elves working to get the information out.

Wendy White is at the CDA

We're going to be rolling out several resources for people looking for Colorado products both for menu planning as well as for gift giving. We'll have our winter farmers markets list for farmers markets moving indoor for the fall and winter. We'll also have our Christmas tree list where people can find information about cutting your own tree as well as visiting tree lots. And then our final resource is the Colorado Food Agriculture Gift Guide."

Wendy says a few of her favorites are Alpaca wool socks and sweaters, lavender skin care products, and chocolates, spice mixes and other wonderful locally produced products.

Another good resource for holiday events is Colorado.com which lists winter carnivals, festivals, gift bazaars, and holiday lights sightseeing opportunities.
