So you’re out in the wilderness hunting or fishing or hiking and you get hungry. No restaurant insight so what do you do? Here is Sales Associate Alex from Sportsmen’s Warehouse. “We offer backpacker’s pantry and also mountain house freeze dried food. We also have protein bars. We also have wilderness athlete and different nutritional dietary supplements. For the freeze dried food you would have to have water to boil it as far as prep. Could a person in the outdoors completely self-sustaining with those foods? The nutritional supplements, no. Those are just for electrolytes. If you had enough protein bars, you could probably go several days. We do offer quite a bit of freeze dried food and those are definitely sustainable for a number of days.
