**President Trump says he doesn't feel he needs to secure a trade deal with China before next year's election, but it it happens, it "would probably be a positive" for his campaign.

**Twitter is blowing up with the #FairCattleMarkets as the Senate Ag Committee prepares for a hearing on the Livestock and Poultry Sectors.

Agrimarketing.com reports, a recent report shows Kansas feed yards in August lost $185 per head while PACKER margins spiked to nearly four times their annual average.

Cattle feeders aren’t expected to see a positive net return on steers or heifers until May.
