10/18/05 Cattlemen`s convention approaching

Washington Ag October 18, 2005 The Washington Cattlemen's Association and the Washington CattleWomen's Association hold their 80th Annual Convention and Trade show November 10th through the 12th at Campbell's Resort in Chelan. Jack Field, WCA executive vice president, says convention highlights include a panel on Livestock ID Thursday afternoon November 10th. Field: "And it will feature Tom Lipetzky of the Meat Export Federation, Rob Cannell from McDonald's, Robert Rebholtz from Agri Beef, Larry Olberding our WCA Trade and Marketing Committee Chairman and Neil Kayser the WCA Livestock Id Committee Chairman. And they are going to be discussing a wide variety of issues and topics surrounding Livestock Id and trade issues." On the morning of November 11th the founder of R-CALF, the president of the NCBA and the president and vice president of the WCA will all be on a panel. Field: "It will be the only opportunity cattlemen in Washington state have to see this type of venue with R-CALF, NCBA and WCA all on the same stage answering the same questions."
