Second Annual Colorado Agritourism Conference Happens March 9-10th

Colorado Agritourism Association Board member Courtney Frazier shares more details about their March annual meeting.

Frazier: "The Colorado Agri-tourism Association is hosting their second annual meeting. However this meeting is going to include some additional educational sessions that weren't offered last year. So some new opportunities. So everything from employment law, marketing, insurance, legislative initiatives that affect agritourism and much more are going to be offered in these two day session between March 9th and 10th. These sessions are going to be held at the National Western Stockshow Complex in Denver. So hopefully a central access point across the state."

She encourages any ag producers who might be interested in exploring agritourism opportunities as well as veteran agritourism businesses.

Frazier: "I think that this would be appropriate for all ends of the spectrum in terms of where you are at in your operation. We've got a lot of great information for those just starting up or maybe who just have an idea and need some help with that development and resources. We also have resources for those who are established and really looking to take their programming and marketing to the next level. To find some new opportunities and new outlets to promote their destination."

She encourages those who are interested in attending or learning more to go to coloradoagritourismassociation.org.

Tomorrow we will continue our conversation with Frazier and talk about the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo which follows the Colorado Agritourism meeting.
