"We are Idaho FFA”. Idaho FFA members are busy promoting their annual tractor raffle fundraiser project that has grown into a major fund raising source for the youth organization. State FFA Pres. Gretchen Hanstein says most of the money made helps pay for kids going to college. I might say parenthetically, FFA members are no strangers to higher education. "It was started in 2011 by Howard tractor raffle chairman Mr. Sid Freeman and his wife Pam. It is a project through the Idaho FFA Foundation and the purpose of our tractor raffle is to raise money for scholarships for students to attend college and also to fund Idaho FFA programs. In the last six years, we have generated approximately $250,000 and then it is giving out $87,000 in scholarships so far and this year there will be another $24,000 awarded for college students in Idaho.” Tickets for the tractor raffle are $10 apiece and can be purchased from any FFA chapter or by calling ( 208) 941 – 3584.
