**Montana is the third state to pass legislation to prohibit food products produced from cultured cells from being labeled the same as "real" steaks and hamburger.

Agweb.com reports, Representative Alan Redfield's Real Meat Act has passed both Montana's House and Senate, and now awaits Governor's signature.

Redfield's bill doesn't ban the sale of cell-cultured products, but requires products labeled as "meat" must be "derived from the edible flesh of livestock or a livestock product."

**The Senate rejected competing Republican and Democratic disaster-relief proposals, leaving the legislation's fate uncertain after the House passed a $14.2 billion aid package in January.

Agrimarketing.com reports, disaster-struck communities have been waiting months for lawmakers to approve federal aid, after states from the Southeast to California were battered by hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes and other severe weather.

Republicans criticized Democratic presidential candidates for voting against the GOP plan, which includes assistance for Midwestern states recovering from catastrophic flooding last month.
