Oregon Rep. Suzanne Bonamici has spoken in support of E15 during a House subcommittee hearing that featured testimony from three biofuel critics, but no representatives from the ethanol industry or the Department of Energy. Bonamici said the approaching blend wall should not end support for homegrown ethanol and noted that the literature cited during the hearing originated mainly from oil companies and automakers.

USDA has released a report providing a comprehensive look at the economic role, challenges and opportunities for food hubs in the nation’s growing local food movement.
