Fishing or hunting

Kent Goodman will do anything to go fishing and I asked him what drove his passion. "I think it's the challenge of getting that fish to bite whether you can see it or not. I really enjoy sight fishing like in the saltwater where you see a permit or a bonefish. I hunt as well and love that but if I had to pick between fishing or hunting I would choose fishing. The hunting aspect of fishing is big for me. I love river fishing and reading the water and trying to figure it out. Steelhead are a big attraction for me. I love to look at a run and say I think they are probably going to be here and once in a while I'm right and maybe I'll take that little pat on my back. And then it is all the stuff you see when you are out there. I usually fish in places that are not crowded. Getting away from the world is therapeutic for me I think the world would be a better place if everybody took time off and went fishing.
