Most Interesting Man

Damon Bongard might be one of the most interesting guys you ever want to meet. "I am the product development manager of Jackson kayak so I started kayaking professionally when I was in college at Clemson University. I am a white water kayaking junkie, that is what I live for. As time moved on, I went to work in the aerospace and defense industry. Pretty involved with paddle sports on the side. My job as product manager at Jackson is to help develop marketable, functional, sellable kayak concepts and then bring them to a physical reality and production. My wife is from Vermont, I lived in Vermont for many years and became friends with the guys at Orvis. Their fly rod factory is there down in Manchester. Where a good made in the USA brand, they certainly are the same thing with their fly rods. I love to fly fish, I love photography, I love telling stories so over the years I have gained many friends there. I used to go out to the Orvis guide rendezvous in Montana every year.
