Every year an event called the Wyoming Women's Antelope Hunt is held in Northeast Wyoming and women come in for three or four days and participate in a great hunt. This year an interesting entrée was made on site for the women to enjoy and which event spokesperson Rebekah Smith describes. "It's really healthy meat for you and your family and so that's one of the things that we promote is for women who are coming there just to learn how to bring nutritious meat to their table. It's a great opportunity for them to take those skills down the road that they learned at the antelope hunt and apply them themselves so they can harvest an animal and go ahead and process it themselves and then bring it right to the table." But before they bring it to the table, it has to be prepared and Rebekah tells us how. "It's pho and it is a type of thing you can usually get at a Vietnamese restaurant or an Asian restaurant like Chinese. It's a broth soup with noodles and spices and the meat is cooked right in the broth so you cook up the broth and add the meat at the last minute so it is perfectly tender and just delicious."

Want to get in on the pho??? Next year's event is slated for Oct. 11-14, 2018.
