Casey Underwood is an artist and freelance designer currently residing in Seattle, WA. After graduating with a BA in Studio Art from Westmont College, Casey loaded up his station wagon with fly rods and art supplies and set out on a two month road trip around the western United States. In his pursuit of world class rivers and trout, Casey found inspiration in the places he saw and trout he encountered. Along the way, Casey began to create a body of work that combined his passion for fly fishing with his artistic expression. Since then, Casey's work has continued to delve deeper into the subject matter of fish, watersheds and natural themes. Frequent contributor, Josh Mills, talks about the relevance. "There is a unique collaboration happening right now in the world of steelhead and wine. The Darby winery in Woodinville has partnered with one of my favorite groups the Wild steelhead coalition to produce a unique new white and red blend called the Native Series. It features beautiful artwork from the artist Casey Underwood who does beautiful paintings and prints of wild fish throughout the world. So they are hosting a native wine release party at the Darby Winery in Woodinville, Washington. It costs 25 bucks per person.
