In a chat with Colin Kearns editor-in-chief of the marvelous outdoors magazine Field & Stream, he talked about turkey hunting and I asked him if he had ever hunted with a crossbow. I have hunted turkeys with a crossbow. It's a lot of fun but it does take some getting used to. Tell me your thoughts about the differences between a crossbow and a conventional bow. Well the crossbow is horizontal and of course a conventional bow is vertical. With the crossbow you have a tool to cock it and that's because it fires arrows at a very high speed.

And guess where you can buy a crossbow? No surprise. Sportsman's Warehouse where they have quite a variety ranging from $400-$1000 along with all the arrows you need.
