One of the features that I love about talking with the good folks at Sportsmen's Warehouse is the fact that they don't just talk the talk. Almost everybody that I have chosen to interview is a seasoned outdoorsman. It doesn't matter whether we are talking the shooting sports, hunting with rifles or bows, bass fishing, fly fishing, Kokanee fishing, grilling what you harvest, recommendations for clothing gear, tents and sleeping bags, you name it. So without hesitation, I talked with a guy who was been on several times before, Sportsmen's Warehouse Sales Associate Tom Hahn about turkey hunting. "Out of the 20 years plus that I have been harvesting turkeys, I've only had one bird that I couldn't find. I thought it was a good shot, I followed the blood trail but never found them. Was this with archery? Yes. What about the right load for a shotgun? It's going to depend on your knowledge of where you are. How far away your shot is going to be. If you know you are going to have a close shot, I would use a five or a six but if it's going to be a further shot, then I would use 2's even a T turkey load.
