Regular contributor to the show, Chris Claunch tells me that Idaho is a great destination for anyone who wants to catch giant bass and an added attraction... In the Snake River. "I will tell you that the lore is true. To my knowledge, from American Falls all the way down to where the Snake River dumps into the Columbia River there are small and large mouth bass. The spring time can be very fruitful for bass fishing when they are more up towards the top of the water. Trout fishermen may be fishing a subsurface insect or a streamer and stripping it through mid water and find that they pick up a very nice bass. Many people seek the destination from above C Strike Reservoir all the way up to the Minidoka bass fishing all the way through.
