Mule deer hunting with a very knowledgeable Sportsman's Warehouse associate.

Anthony Ocamica has a passion that he wants to share with you. "Mule deer hunting, that's my thing, I do like hunting elk, bear, mountain lion, wolves but I enjoy going Mule deer hunting. I think mule deer are very intelligent animals, the terrain, the type of place you get to hunt them in, the type of animal they are, the characteristics that they have, the things they do makes me enthralled with them. I started hunting when I was 12 years old and that has always been my thing. Mule deer every year, that's how I spend my time and my energy, chasing mule deer. I presume you fair chase. Very much so. If I have an opportunity to hunt on private property I would but no guiding, not that I have anything against guides, but my hunting is public ground for the most part, no closed fences or anything like that at all. You love hunting them because they are challenging as is the terrain, right? Something else. An old mule deer is something else, man. They are cagey, intelligent... Outsmarting them in their own territory is a pretty tough thing to do for an old mule deer. That is why they get old. Exactly. They did not get big by being dumb. What do you use when you hunt? I shoot a Remington model 700, 7 mag. I use a Bushnell Elite Scope or my Vortex optics as far as binoculars go." That's why we shop at Sportsman's Warehouse.
