6-22 SS Rifle in a Rack

 Suzanne Harding is a tennis player but she happens to be from Bigfork, Montana so that last part if you knew anything about Bigfork, already qualifies her for being a true outdoors person. But she also reads hunting and fishing magazines and without further ado here she is with her stories about an elk, a rifle, and a picture seeking hunter. “There was an article I was reading in Deer Hunter magazine. It was just a brief little excerpt in the magazine and it was talking about this man who had been held cutting and I don’t know how far away he was but he had shot an elk or thought he had shot an elk and found him laying there and was so excited that he wanted to get a picture of himself with his rifle. He stuck his rifle in the elk’s antlers and then went to set his self timer on his camera and in the process had noticed that the elk started moving. It just got up and ran with his gun in the rack. So he obviously had not killed the elk. I don’t know whether it was a surface wound or want but the elk  got away with his gun. My thought processes that the next hunter who sees this elk is going to think my goodness they are retaliating. W
