12-20 SS Injured Eagle
A male bald eagle that was brought to Teton Raptor Center’s rehabilitation program on June 16, 2010 via Idaho Fish and Game got a second chance at freedom on Monday, December 13th. The eagle initially showed up with compound fractures to its left wrist and the cause of injury could not be determined. After veterinary treatment, the eagle’s exterior wounds and fractures healed well, allowing the opportunity to take the next steps toward returning this bird to the wild.
