We all know that trophy game is more likely to exist in environments where there isn’t a lot of pressure either from hunters, hikers or civilization in general. In the Northwest that environment can be way up in the mountains as in 25 miles in. So how do you get in with all that gear? I had a conversation with muley hunter Brian England about horse packing just to scout before the hunt. By the way, horses are the critical element here.
