Waitley: “Leadership Idaho Agriculture was formed in 1986. We’ve had a total 871 graduates from the program. In the number of years of our existence, our task is really has been is to take individuals, predominantly from production agriculture but we also receive applicants from agribusiness as well as agency government — federal and state. To add to their personal and professional tool box a number of skills that they can use as they advance through their career and their life.”
If you are 26 years old or older, involved in ag and live in Idaho or live near its border and do a lot of business in the Gem state, the deadline for this year’s class is Saturday, August 1st. Waitley says that each class has no more than 30 members in it.
