Two Holistic Management Workshops Scheduled for Livestock Producers

If you are interested in learning more about the Holistic Management System there are two workshops coming in the next two months that will help you gain more knowledge. Pacific Northwest Center for Holistic Management Officer Doug Warnock shares more details.
Warnock: “We have two events coming up. The first is a Grazing Planning Workshop which will be held December 3rd and 4th of this year. The second is a Planning for Profit Workshop that will be held January 28 and 29, 2015. Both of these will be held in the Armory Building next to the Kittitas County Fairgrounds in Ellensburg, Washington.”
Ideally, Warnock says producers should consider attending both to maximize the learning. The first workshop is strictly for livestock producers though the second workshop can benefit any ag producer, regardless of commodity grown.
He shares where producers can find more information and register.
Warnock: “You can go to our website at pacificnorthwestcenterforholisticmanagement.com and there will be instructions there to sign up.”
Warnock says that if you are unable to attend these events but are interested and know of others in your area that would attend such programs, contact the center for more information as he said that these workshops can come to producers if there is enough local interest and participation.
