Weekly Cattle Recap

This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Monday, Sept 10th. The cattle market has been holding steady over the board as we finished last week, let's go to Greg Sanders with the USDA for the Weekly Cattle Update.

Chicago Dec. Wheat prices closed Friday dn 2 ½ at 513.

Dec. Corn was up ¾ at 367 ½.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Oct. ended the day dn 5 to 16 ranging from 5-95 to 6-04. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 2 ranging from 6-24 ¾ to 6-29 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. were dn 1 ¾ ranging from 6-65 to 6-80.

Live Cattle for Oct were up $1.05 at 110.05. Oct Feeder cattle are up $1.42 ½ at to finish the week at $152.90. Oct Class III milk was up .10 cents at 16.52.
