This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Wednesday, August 9th. The Grain market has been trying to rally, but not quite keeping up to par when we compare to the last few years. Here is Joe Valclavick with more from the floor of the CME Group in Chicago.

Chicago Sept Wheat prices closed yesterday dn 6 ½ at 457 ¼. Sept corn ended the day dn 2 ½ at 369 ¼ .

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for September ended the day 6 ½ -unchanged, ranging from 5-02 to 5-32. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for September were dn 6 ¼, ranging from 5-45 ½ to 5-57 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for September were up 4 ¾, ranging from 8-31 ¼ to 8-41 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct were dn 52 ½ cents, at 110.40. Sept Feeder cattle were dn 42 ½ cents at 146.22 ½ Sept Class III milk was dn 11 cents at 16-52.
