This is Tom Allen filling in for Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Tuesday, Oct. 30th. Wheat is looking stronger because of a surprise purchase. Let's go to Virginia McGathey to learn more about the Global grain market.

Chicago Dec Wheat prices were up 2, to finish the day at 506 ¾.

Dec Corn was down 1, at 367 3/4.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Nov. ended the day unch ranging from 6.1000-6.1700. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Nov. were ranging from 6.2650-6.4150 . DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were ranging from 6.6750-6.9250.

Live Cattle for Dec. were down $1.50 at 117.45. Nov. Feeder cattle were down 90 cents, to finish the day at 153.80. Nov. Class III milk was dn .23 cents at 14.85.
