This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Friday, March 23rd. The cattle market closes with a little bit of a rebound on Thursday. From the floor of the CME in Chicago, here's Larry Shover.

SHOVER ... "Talk about live cattle and has it finally hit bottom. That's the big question today. Seeming that June in the last five days dumped 3 ½ percent. The last few months have been down as much as 7 percent. Today rallied back slightly, up about .77 cents on the close. Near-term drivers continue to be beef prices, beef exports and cattle weight that's weighing down the market. Traders think that yesterday's technical market was a good one. Perhaps this is a good sign of things going forward."
