This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for Thursday Oct 20th. Cattle prices are having a hard time moving due to volatility. Let's go to Virginia McGathey, from the floor of the CME to hear more on the livestock market.

Chicago May Wheat prices closed yesterday up 1 1/4, at 454 1/2. May corn ended the day up 3 3/4, at 374 1/2.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Feb. ended the day up 5.75-0.75, ranging from 4.9575-5.0075 . Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Feb. were up 3.75, ranging from 5.1750-5.3250 . DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were up up 1.75, ranging from 6.3400-6.5200 . Feb.

Live Cattle were dn $2.17 ½, at 98.45. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $2.92 ½, at 110. 80. Dec. class III milk was dn .21 cents at 15-28.
