I have to admit to being totally confused about glyphosate. It is the main ingredient in Monsanto's herbicide Roundup and at face value a brilliant hypothesis. You take genetically modified seeds, plant them, the crop grows and you can get rid of weeds by spraying with glyphosate. That said, there are two very strongly divided camps on this subject. You have groups claiming that glyphosate is ubiquitous and has found its way into the urine and breastmilk of millions of Americans and then you have those who say studies have shown this not to be true.

Val Giddings, is a Senior Analyst for Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. "This study is a detailed and very solid rejection of these alarmist claims by folks who would like to worry about things that are no legitimate cause of worry. Let me be clear. I am a father of two great kids and would never put anything into their diet or expose them to anything that was toxic. I am a senior analyst with a PhD in genetics with three decades of experience in this area. I get to work with ideas on the cutting edge of modern biology and agriculture."

Carey Gillam has dedicated her career to unraveling this complicated issue. "Val Giddings is on Monsanto's payroll. Of course he's going to say that."
