There certainly has been no lack of opinions rendered with regard to the trade deals that Pres. Trump has decided to table or at the very least examine very carefully. It's got farmers and ranchers on edge even more than the regular population and there’s a reason for it. Darcy Pawlik, a product marketing lead for Syngenta cereals shared his position. "it's a tough one, namely because export markets are so important for wheat trade throughout the US. You have about 50% of the market going into trade in the Pacific Northwest is even higher. You can certainly understand why this is something that is not being taken overly well. I have been reading releases that they are encouraged by the fact that there is a desire to propel different markets and try and work with the new administration. They want to make sure their markets are not being degraded. So I think overall some of those new trade deals would be competitive with whether it's Canada, Australia or Russia, they just want to see something that would potentially maybe balance that.
