Problem. You’re out in the field with your sprayer and you have to open up plastic jugs and pour them into your spraying unit. It’s windy, the chemicals can be toxic and you don’t want to them splashed on your clothes or hands. Solution. The Chem-blade automatically opens the plastic jug in a closed container, delivers the chemical directly into the sprayer in one and a half seconds and leaves you with a rinsed out, empty jug. Here’s spokesperson Ralph Lagergren. "His brother has a custom spray company and he was out there pouring jugs and he just thought that there had to be a better way. You take the jug and push down on it, it has three blades and it penetrates and cuts open the jug and as it goes through it has a rotary sprayer that sprays the inside of the container. Today they pour the judge in and it is splashing and the wind is blowing and it usually gets all over everybody and the majority of people don’t wear their gloves and the suits that they’re supposed to and so what happens is that you get gurgling and backsplash. We’re talking expensive chemicals and even if you are leaving 2 to 3 ounces in there, that is significant. You take millions of jobs that are being buried or burned with chemicals and it, it is pretty significant.” Go to chemblade.com
