As we mentioned last week, this month Agri Beef is teaming up with the Idaho Beef Council and Albertsons for not only a fun but very important beef partnership to feed hungry people in Idaho.

T.K. Kuwahara is the Idaho Beef Council's Executive Director and tells us more.

"We are really excited to partner with Agri Beef and Albertsons in 33 stores throughout southern Idaho" said Kuwahara. "What's great about this is a portion of all proceeds of Agri Beef purchased in Albertsons in Idaho in the month of August will be donated to the Beef Counts Program at the Idaho Food Bank. The Beef Counts Program was developed about 10 years ago and there was a need for a nutrient rich protein for the food bank and beef really fits that bill. The industry came together and for all donations that are raised, Agri Beef is matching that up to $50,000. So at the end of August, we anticipate that $20,000 from Albertsons and Agri Beef combined will go to the food bank to buy nutritious beef."
