I’m Greg Martin with the Open Range AgriBeef Minute. Valentines Days is Monday and Rebecca Robison, foodstylist and chef has some wonderful suggestions.

ROBISON: I really like the idea of cooking together. Cooking a couple of really beautiful prime meat together and setting the table, it’s great if someone does it for you but it’s really more fun to be interactive with each other and create this great meal for each other.

A lot of people don’t really have an idea about how to pick out those perfect cuts of meat.

ROBISON: The tenderloin is terrific. It has a very mild flavor. It is really great for skillet cooking. That one and the filet of strip loin, it’s a thicker cut and it has a really intense flavor. And the rib eye is also very excellent. It’s so succulent, full flavored and has lots of marbling if you like that in your meat. The more marbles, the more tender.
