Sarahs Rookie Hunt

Sarah, I love your passion, and the energy you bring to the Tea Party but you might want to think twice before you tout your hunting abilities on national TV. I’m Susan Allen inviting you to stay tuned for OpenRange. Sarah Palin’s  savvy when it comes to using the new media;  Facebook, Twitter, I Phones and yes, even reality TV. It was expected that her critics and animal rights groups would have their tails in a knot over her up close and personal take on Alaska’s fishing and hunting industry but I bet she was surprised by the potshots from her base of  outdoor enthusiasts over her rookie hunting mistakes. Cutting Sarah some slack, being a politician leaves little time for big game excursions and Palin’s camaraderie hunting with her dad was authentic and sweet. All would have been fine had she come clean with the fact she hadn’t hunted for years rather than touting her hunting  prowess in interviews. FYI  Sarah, my girls sight in their guns and carry their own rifles.  Not only did Sarah’s father heavily coach her when she had a   young female caribou in her sights, he even loaded her shells.  Palin took heat on hunting blogs not merely  for missing so many times but because she was worried the gun would kick and had to ask daddy when to pull the trigger. Then she carried on like she’d bagged a trophy bull. The reality hunting moment occurred when daughter Piper teased her mom for shooting a cow with such tiny horns. Ms. Sarah just be real
