Obama Wonderland
Health care has passed, many of us remain in shock, wondering what’s happened to our country. Yes it’s tea party time, this one is courtesy of Obama Wonderland. I ‘m Susan Allen stay tuned for OpenRange. After watching the new Alice and Wonderland movie, I realized we’re living it! You and I have fallen down the rabbit hole and we’re at the Mad Hatters tea party where everything that should be, isn’t. "When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less." Who does that sound like? Like Alice’s Red Queen with the oversized noggin our Black King (who by the way can’t really be black can he if he had a white mum,....I'm very confused) shouts to his czars “off with their heads” to any that oppose him. The Cheshire Cat, Nancy grins from ear to ear when she reminds us that in Obama Wonderland children never have to grow up . A 26 year old is still a roly poly Tweedle Dumb dependant on mommy. What a relief when I claw my way out this rabbit hole and find myself back home in the rural west, where unlike the Tweedle Dumbs it’s our young men and women that fight villains in faraway places like Iraq. While my seventeen year old niece from a affluent suburb has yet to hold a job, her counterpart in the country is moving irrigation pipe, swabbing cherries, working cattle, stackin hay and driving wheat truck. If the west rallies there’s hope for this county. So whose will be our Alice and exposes this hypocrisy at a real tea party? I’ll leave that to your imagination.
