This is not intended to be an infomercial by any means however, while attending a symposium presented by Bayer Crop Sciences I was wandering around a number of their displays and I ran into the Product manager for corn herbicides Christov Breitenstroter. "I have heard that weeds are increasingly resistant to glyphosate. What is Bayer doing to combat that? What we recommend and what we have in our portfolio is products that contain multiple and effective modes of action. The problem you mainly have is with glyphosate resistance and we are recommending using alternative modes of action. With Corvus you have a product that has two effective modes of action. It has atrazine. We also have Caprino for post emergence weed control. It is another example of a product with two effective modes of action. We recommend using an integrated approach to controlling weeds and making sure you don't have escapes."
