Harv and Leslie Lippert have a ranch near Sandpoint with scenic beauty everywhere around them. For both of the Lipperts this part of Idaho has always been home. Harvey earned his first dollar at age 13 doing something that is now part of his farming business. HARVEY "My parents are in construction. We didn't work in the construction in the high school summers we worked on the farm and built a haying operation and that's what I run today is that haying operation when we were in high school." LESLIE "I grew up showing cattle with Harvey in 4-H and so I've known him essentially all my life." HARVEY "The cattle actually started when, I have a twin brother and we started in 4-H and then we started running registered cattle and went to all the junior program." LESLIE "This is our 2450 New Holland whather and I drive it all summer. Its such a pretty place everybody wants to live here and so all the people that are moving in and splitting up the land and that's making it a much greater challenge." Harvey and Leslie Lippert of Sandpoint, YFR members and recently honored along with four other couples for their contribution and work with Idaho Farm Bureau. Voice of Idaho Agriculture Bill Scott
