It looks like it will cost just a little less to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table this year.

That's according to the American Farm Bureau Federation's Annual Survey of Classic Items found on the Thanksgiving dinner table.

They found that the average cost of this year's feast for 10 is $48.90!

That comes out to less than $5 a person.

That cost is down 22 cents from last year's average of $49.12.

The star of the feast, the turkey, cost slightly less than last year too, coming in at $21.71 for a 16-pound bird, down 3% from last year.

The shopping list for the survey includes turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, a veggie tray, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and coffee and milk.
