USPB's Ninth Wonder of the World Potatoes Campaign

The United States Potato Board has just launched a new marketing campaign. USPB Marketing Program Director Kim Breshears shares more details
Breshears: “We are calling it the Ninth Wonder of the World — Potatoes. This celebrates the fun and versatility of cooking with potatoes. We are tapping into the adventurous nature of today’s consumers with a variety of tactics that range from print adverting, to digital advertising, to social media, to use of video, we’re working extensively with the media to get a lot of PR coverage. Really to just celebrate all the wonder that the potato delivers to consumers in their cuisines.”
Breshears shares what is important for the potato industry to know about this new marketing campaign.
Breshears: “We want everybody in the industry to know that there is so much good in the potato and we are focused on celebrating that and really promoting what benefits the potato can bring to a consumer as they are trying to find new and different ways to shake up their menu and to really tap into the new flavor profiles that the consumer is interested in and the diversity of dishes that consumer is interested in.
