Exede Internet Provides Service to Rural Area

One of the challenges of living outside an urban area is finding a fast, reliable source of internet service. Exede Internet Marketing Director Matt Farr shares that the this company is a second generation and its former first generation satellite internet service was known as WildBlue. He continues with details about this improved service.
Farr: “So we launched the Exede Internet service in 2012 and it is a much, much faster service. It really is meant to be a service for people who cannot get served by the traditional providers. If you live in a city — you are well served — you can probably get service from the cable company and phone company. As you move out, the cable company drops off first. The phone company may offer you service, but it is often times it’s not their best service. It is a lot slower. And then if you move further out, you may have very few options. We are here to be sure that everybody is able to get good service. It doesn’t matter where you live we will deliver there fastest service possible to you — whether you live on a farm, whether you live in a cabin by the lake or we have customers who live out in the middle of the desert. The way we operate is that in most areas of the U.S. we have a 12 M service and the remainder areas is a 5 M service.”
