The Peterson brothers, three siblings from central Kansas who farm together with their families are best known for their Youtube channel full of song parodies.

The Petersons have used song parodies to promote farming and educate the public about farming.

Now Greg Peterson, the eldest brother, is using the family channel to reach out to fellow farmers around the U.S. who are struggling to make ends meet with low prices and trade tariff battles. He has a message of unity and hope.

"I know in times like this when weather and markets are bearing down on farmers, there's usually a rise in suicides and some darker things like that. So if you're struggling with mental health please get help and talk to people about it. You're not the only one who is going through this and you're not the only farmer who is dealing with truly , truly hard times in agriculture right now.'

Peterson said the family is working with the founders of the Legacy Farmer Academy

"This academy is essentially training for farmers young and old to learn how to deal with things like weather issues and markets, equipment issues and breakdowns, mental health, physical health, rising costs, low profit margins, pressure to expand, government regulations, relationships with employees, pressure from activists groups as well as succession and passing the farm on to the next generation."
