Drought Survey

Colorado agriculture producers are being asked to take a survey to help researchers better understand the challenges producers face in drought conditions.

University of Colorado and CIRES ( Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences ) lead researcher, Dr. Jen Henderson says the findings will also help policy makers understand water users' needs especially at the intersection of urban growth and rural agricultural communities.

She says the results will be used to understand how to serve the agricultural user community and how to make sure there is a voice for the agriculture community in the State Drought Plan.

The survey closes March 31st.
