Colorado Farm Bureau Mid-Summer Meeting Starts Next Week

The annual Colorado Farm Bureau Mid-Summer meeting is fast approaching next week. This year’s event will be held in Sterling at the Northeast Junior College campus and will include two different ag tours which will happen on Sunday afternoon prior to the committee and general session meetings that will be held on Monday and Tuesday.
Colorado Farm Bureau Regional Manager and Collegiate Coordinator Crystal Frank encourages all Farm Bureau members and their families to attend this fun and informative event.
Frank: “The Farm Bureau Mid-Summer meeting is a wonderful opportunity to gather with other farmers and ranchers and catch up with what is happening in the ag industry and hear about policy updates and changes and what is happening at both the state and national level. And make sure you are aware of those issues that are affecting you personally and affecting the ag industry as a whole. And help be a voice for agriculture by being a part of this mid-summer meeting; by being an active part of the Farm Bureau it makes that voice louder for who we are and standing up for the ag industry as a whole.”
If you’d like to attend and haven’t yet registered Frank says that you can still attend, just contact the Farm Bureau and let them know. She also mentions that even those who aren’t yet involved in Farm Bureau can also attend.
Frank: “If you are interested prospective interested, obviously an active farmer or a rancher and are curious or have some questions. This is an open meeting and we would take other folks that are curious — they’ve heard of the speakers we have or wanted to come checkout a the tour. If they are are not yet a member, that is okay we would welcome them.”
